BRACKNELL, United Kingdom - June 8, 2010. Bracknell-based Ancoris is a specialist integrator of cloud-computing, collaboration, security and service delivery solutions for the UK and Ireland, a leading Google Enterprise Partner and Preferred Partner of ScanSafe, now part of Cisco. The company has grown from strength to strength in 2009 and has hired five executives since the beginning of 2010, to bolster its team and support further growth in its key markets.
David McLeman, Managing Director, Ancoris says: “We’ve been recognised since 2003 for our knowledge of enterprise security and service delivery solutions but our Cloud expertise is creating substantial growth in 2010. We’ve hired expert professionals with proven experience to help us capitalise on this momentum and to service our expanding customer base".
The new positions have been created to increase the level of sales and technical support available to Google Apps Premier Edition customers. "We’re seeing increasing demand from a wide range of markets, in particular retail, manufacturing, logistics, hospitality and professional services", adds David McLeman, "The strengthening of our Google Apps capability has enabled us to launch a range of standard deployment packages for small and medium businesses as well as a fully customised approach for larger enterprises".
Andrew Eden joins as Major Account Executive from NetIQ where he was looking after enterprise accounts such as BP, Shell, Tesco and Vodafone. Previously with Hummingbird (now OpenText) and ResSoft Ltd (since acquired by Tikit plc), he has a strong background in systems management, security and compliance, email and content management solutions. Andrew Eden comments: “I am delighted to join Ancoris at such an exciting time in its growth and help the company gain a bigger presence in the enterprise market. Graham Ingleby, Technical Consultant, brings additional technical and project management expertise for customers migrating their email infrastructure to the Cloud. An experienced IT professional with a degree from the University of Liverpool, Graham’s career has included a wide range of technical roles with organisations such as Pfizer, ING Bank, Le Meridien, Thistle Hotels and latterly H&M.
Anne-Laure McLeman joins from Cisco as Marketing Manager. Previously a Cisco’s Commercial Program Manager in the Emerging Theatre, she was responsible for the planning, launch and management of a lead generation campaign which delivered a $200m pipeline in FY09. Anne-Laure has previously held a number of senior marketing roles for Nortel, Peak Technologies, Requisite Technology, Sequent (now IBM) and AST Computer (now Samsung).
Ben Deakin, joins the team as Account Executive. In this new role, he will focus on customer care and take a lead in new business in the SMB market. Previously with Rushmon Homes, Ben has a degree in Business Management from the University of Surrey.
Tom Boardman, a recent Oxford Brookes graduate in Computing & Network Computing, joins as a Technical Support Specialist providing first line of support for security and Google applications.
