KING LAZARUS
(MALINGUS)
He is a revolutionary type of artist who uses music as a vessel or vehicle to transmit a message of equality, peace, love and harmony for all living. His specific genre is a mixture of roots and culture reggae, dancehall and hip-hop reggae mix. This was influenced by his multi-national experiences of traveling and spending time in various parts of the world. He was born in Chinapoo Village/ Morvant Laventille,
Port-of-Spain Trinidad & Tobago and by his early teens he was already performing at local community shows and school events. Soon after he started traveling to the US and Europe gaining experiences by observing “what’s happening to humanity” and interacting with people from all over the globe, not just musically but also on a personal level.
KING LAZARUS has a lot of messages to share with the world and love using music to do so. In one of his compositions “no heathen gods” he speaks about the injustice and confusion within certain systems as well as the recession. He currently works with ZEBBY LION PRODUCTIONS who is based in UK Manchester and was featured on a track named MY JAH with singing sensation EMPRESS ASHA. The collaboration is extremely uplifting and people all over are gravitating towards the “MAGIC SOUND WAVE”.
The objective is to uplift and enlighten listeners is some possible way. So KING LAZARUS continues to use his inspiration and motivation to keep bringing forth the messages of peace, love, harmony and equal rights and justice for all.
